The Marble Mountains are located in Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, about 20km Northeast of the old town of Hoi An.
The Marble Mountains, also referred to as Ngu Hanh Son or Mountain of the Five elements, consist of five mountains: Thuy Son (Water), which is the highest, Moc Son (Wood), Kim Som (Metal), Tho Son (Soil or Earth) and Hoa Son (Fire).
Thuy Son is popular tourist destination because of its stunning beauty. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to Linh Ung pagoda – Your wishes will come true. At the back of the pagoda, there is the Tang Chon Cave where Cham Pa people used to live with natural cave and the Sunlight on it making a perfect magic picture.
Lead to the pick of the mountain or the way to the Heaven is a challenge there is the Van Thong Cave with a narrow way up to the top and gorgeous view to the other mountains- Beaches- Da Nang city.
Huyen Khong Cave bring tourist back to thousand years history of Viet Nam with sounds of drums stones from old Cham Pa people and Holy water attractive with Nguyen Kings dynasty .Huyen Khong Cave also was a base for Vietnamese revolutionaries during the War for independence.
The Marble Mountains are famous for traditional stone carving, and nearby Dong Hai Village, some 600 families produce statues, jewelries and artworks. The stone works from the Marble Mountains have been exported to many countries.
The Monkey Mountain “ Golden Eyes “ is located 12km North of Da Nang city center. It’s one of Da Nang’s top attractions and often referred to as the Son Tra Peninsula. It actually looks like a mushroom sprouting from the cape. The lush Son Tra National Park is home to the rare red face monkey. The winding road around the 693m tall mountain provides beautiful view of the city. It’s not surprising that the American military used the mountain as a communication and observation base because of its strategic location. Linh Ung pagoda is the most impress tourist at the end of tour with 70m high and 30m wide of Lady Buddha special Artwork which one now become famous Buddhist area in Vietnam…
